Featuring the trademark hand shadow puppetry of international shadowgrapher Drew Colby, this visual performance uses new techniques, beautiful lightscapes, whimsical humour and glorious live music to tell Hans Christian Andersen’s story.
Everyday objects including plastic spoons and kitchen colanders are used in imaginative ways to create glistening fish, turtles and dramatic weather changes. This is a magical show, with skilful puppetry, fun characters and lots of laughs.
