TALK AND Q & A
Mervyn Millar is a puppetry designer, a director for Significant Object and the Creative Associate on the National Theatre’s hit, War Horse. He will talk about his involvement in the making of War Horse, Handspring’s bold experiments in puppetry to develop the horse puppet, training of the puppeteers, the role of the audience and how the show went from risky one-off to global phenomenon.
He may even pull a few people up and we can see if they can make a horse. There will also be an opportunity for questions.
The star of War Horse, Joey, will put in an appearance at 2.30pm
Tickets: £5 (concs £3)
